  • Since 2024 I’ve worked predominantly in my special interest of complex conditions. A complex condition includes chronic pain, any chronic illness, such as diabetes, arthritis, an autoimmune condition. I have a particular interest in post viral illness, ME/CFS, long covid, dysautonomia, POTS, MCAS, with lived experience in this area.

    I also have 5 years experience treating injuries, such as sport injuries, muscle strains, fractures, sprains, etc, so can help you manage an injury as well.

    I can treat:

    • post surgery rehab (such as joint replacements, ACL reconstruction, menisci removal)

    • Chronic conditions: such as ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, POTS, FND, Parkinson's, MS. I have lived experience with ME/CFS, POTS, MCAS and Post viral illness. Please know I will not be encouraging you to do any exercise your body is not ready for. Physio's can do lots more than just give exercises!

  • Most appointments are 45-50 minute Telehealth, to allow me to complete all the relevant paperwork within the hour.

    If you’re on a time crunch or have a simple injury, we won’t need the full hour.

  • Usually twice a week for the first week or two, while we get an effective recovery plan underway. From then, I like to check in weekly. Life is full of the unexpected, and this frequency ensures we can adjust the plan as necessary to keep you on track.

  • No - a common misconception is that you need to see a GP before going to physio. I can lodge your claim with ACC, and I also screen everyone to see if they would benefit from seeing their GP or any other professional e.g. specialist, dietician

  • Yes, absolutely. Let me know if you'd prefer phone call or zoom. Sometimes I like to have a look at you (your injury, or the way you move) and will request we do zoom.

  • If I think you need an X-ray or ultrasound scan, I’ll do the referral myself. I refer my patients to a specialist when it’s required. If we think you need a more in depth scan, like an MRI or CT scan, I’ll refer you to a specialist. In NZ, only specialists can organize these scans.
